TABOR CITY – South Columbus rallied to take the final 2 sets and edged East Bladen 2-1 in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action Wednesday by set scores of 20-25, 25-22, and 15-6.
Freshman Greyson Heustess hammered in 9 service points, 3 aces, 2 kills, 3 blocks and had 8 digs to lead East Bladen. Teammate Anette Munoz drilled in 2 aces and 3 service points.
Sophomore Merritt Martin fired in 7 service points, 3 aces, a kill and a block for the Lady Eagles. Freshman Emma Turbeville knocked in 6 service points, a kill and had 4 digs. Cheyanne Merritt totaled 2 service points and 2 digs.
Freshman Maegan Burney belted in 2 service points, 2 blocks and a dig for East. Cydney Campbell racked up 4 digs and a service point. Freshman Karli Priest tallied one service point.
