Wallace-Rose Hill defeated East Bladen 2-0 Tuesday in Four County Conference junior varsity volleyball action at Teachey by set scores of 25-21 and 26-24.
Sophomore Kaley Smith fired in 8 service points, 5 aces, and 3 kills and added 3 assists to lead the Lady Eagle offense. Teammate Jozee Strickland hammered in 3 kills, 3 aces and 6 service points.
Freshman Ashley Hardin delivered 6 assists and finished with 3 service points and a kill for East Bladen. Sophomore Hannah DeVane knocked in 4 service points, 2 kills and an ace.
Dyasia McDowell tallied 4 service points, an ace and a kill for East, and Bethany Lesane belted in a kill and a service point. Teammate Sarah Johnson smacked in a kill.
The Lady Eagle jayvees are now 6-12 on the season and will host Union in their home finale Thursday at 4:30.
