TEACHEY – Wallace-Rose Hill defeated West Bladen 2-0 Monday in Four County Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-22 and 25-21.
Junior Mikayla Winebarger slammed in 4 kills, 2 aces and a service point to lead the Lady Knights. Freshman Lexie Corrothers hammered in 5 kills and a service point. Junior Elizabeth Allbright racked up 2 kills, 2 aces and 3 service points.
Sophmore Brinkley Collier fired in 2 aces and a kill for West, and sophmore Callie Lewis tallied 2 service points and a kill. Teammate Alise Pait knocked in an ace and a kill. Freshman Jordan Benson and Cheyenne Lewis added one kill each.
“This team has really shown a lot of growth and improvement over the volleyball season,” said Coach Gaye Davis. “I am proud of all the girls.”
Monday’s match concluded the season for the Lady Knights.
