DUBLIN – West Bladen rallied to defeat Red Springs 2-1 in a Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball match Tuesday by set scores of 16-25, 25-10 and 15-13.
Freshman Khadijah Jones drilled in 8 kills, 4 aces and 3 service points to lead the Lady Knights. Sophmore Jordan Benson hammered in 3 aces, 2 kills and 2 service points. Freshman Shelby Pharr slammed in 3 kills.
Madison Cain and Amelia Brisson fired in 3 aces each. Sophmore Erica Storms knocked in 2 kills and an ace, and teammate Cheyenne Lewis pounded in 2 kills.
It was the second straight 3-set victory for the West Bladen jayvees. “The girls played great,” said Coach Gaye Davis.
The Lady Knights will travel to East Columbus Thursday at 4:30.
