BLADENBORO – West Bladen swept West Columbus 2-0 Thursday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-12 and 25-21.
Ashlyn Cox filled up the stat sheet with 6 service points, 5 aces and 2 kills for the Lady Knights. Sophmore Alyssa Suggs hammered in 5 aces and 4 kills. Sophmore Sidnee Walters slammed in 5 aces and 4 kills.
Freshman Savannah Turbeville drilled in 3 aces and a kill for the winners. Freshman Lauren Pait racked up 4 digs and 2 service points. Amelia Brisson added a kill, and Olivia Allen and Caroline Brisson had one dig each.
“My team played hard tonight,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis.
West Bladen will travel to rival East Bladen Monday.
