DUBLIN – West Bladen’s jayvee volleyball team lost their first set Thursday then rallied for a 2-1 Three Rivers Conference victory over West Columbus by set scores of 17-25, 25-23 and 15-8.

Sophmore Jordan Benson knocked in 6 service points, 2 aces and 5 kills to lead the Lady Knight attack. Indra Rodriquez fired in 5 aces, 6 service points and a kill. Freshman Khadijah Jones slammed in 4 kills, an ace and 2 service points.

Alana King hammered in 3 kills and a service point for West Bladen, while Cheyenne Lewis drilled in an ace and a kill. Freshman Shelby Pharr smacked in a kill, and sophmore Erica Storms tallied one service point.

“The girls played great,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis. “It felt great getting that second conference win for the JV.”

The Lady Knights travel to St. Pauls Tuesday at 4:30.
