BLADENBORO – Whiteville defeated West Bladen 2-0 Tuesday night in Three Rivers Conference Jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-11 and 25-20.
Freshman Lauren Pait fired in 5 aces, 2 service points and had one dig for the Lady Knights. Sophmore Alyssa Suggs drilled in 3 aces, 3 service points, a kill and had one dig. Teammate Ashlyn Cox racked up 4 digs, 2 kills, an ace and a service point.
Caroline Brisson knocked in 3 service points, a kill and had one dig for West. Junior Erica Storms slammed in 2 kills, an ace and had one dig. Olivia Allen collected 2 digs and had one kill.
Haleigh Fields pounded in a kill, and freshman Savannah Turbeville had one block.
West Bladen will travel to South Columbus Wednesday for a 4:30 match.
