DUBLIN – Whiteville defeated West Bladen 2-0 Tuesday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by game scores of 25-19 and 25-5.
Freshman Taylor West slammed in 2 aces and a kill, and freshman Khadijah Jones hammered in 2 kills to lead the Lady Knights. Sophmore Jordan Benson fired in an ace and a service point.
Madison Cain, Amelia Brisson and Shelby Pharr knocked in one kill each for West Bladen. Sophmore Erica Storms smacked in an ace, and Indra Rodriguez tallied one service point.
The Lady Knights travel to Cape Fear Academy Wednesday for a 4:15 non-conference match.
