West Bladen and UNCW grad Kayla Thompson of Clarkton has announced her tournament schedule for the 2021 season. There are five events in April and May in which she will be participating.
The first tournament will be at Abilene, Texas on April 6-9. The Mackie Construction Abilene Open will have a full field and will offer $50,000 in prize money.
On April 13-16 Kayla will play the Wichita Falls Championship in Wichita Falls, Texas. On April 28-30 she will be at the Hot Springs Championship that will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
On May 14 Kayla will be back in North Carolina to play in the U.S. Women’s Open Qualifier at Mid Pines in Pinehurst.
The last event that Kayla has scheduled will be the Central Arkansas Open on May 12-14 in Conway, Arkansas.
Kayla has played in seven professional tournaments and has made the cut in five of them winning a total of $1,315. She has had two top 25 finishes.
