Bladen County’s golf pro Kayla Thompson missed the cut this week in the Texarkana Children’s Charities Open Golf Tournament played at the Northridge Country Club in Texarkana, Texas.
Thompson, a graduate of West Bladen High School and UNC Wilmington, shot 71-77-78=226 to miss the cut by six strokes.
Thompson’s next tournament will be the Central Arkansas Open to be played July 21-24 at Centennial Valley Golf Club in Conway, Arkansas.
