Kayla Thompson opened the Gates Four Women’s Classic with a 2 over 74 and followed up the second round with another 2 over 74. The third round was Kayla’s undoing when she ballooned to an 8 over 80 for a three day total of 228 putting her in a tie for 19th place. Kayla is a former West Bladen High School and UNCW golfer and is from Clarkton.
