Bladen County’s Kayla Thompson will participate in three women’s pro golf tournaments during the
month of July.
On July 14-17 she will play in the Texarkana Children’s Charities Open at Northridge Country Club and Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Texas. The estimated purse is $130,000 with first place paying $20,000.
On July 20-23 she will play in the Natchez Golf Classis at Beau Pre Country Club in Natchez,
Mississippi. The estimated purse is $50,000 with first place being $8,000.
The final scheduled tournament for July is the Babe Zaharias Open in Beaumont, Texas on July 27-30. This tournament will have a purse of $50,000 with first place paying $8,000.
Thompson is a West Bladen and UNCW grad living in Clarkton.
