After a fourth place finish in the NWGA Tour Tournament at Crane Lakes Golf Course in Port Orange, Florida, Kayla Thompson will journey to Alexandria, Lousiana to play in the Women’s All Pro Tour Event, The Coke-Dr. Pepper Open, March 11-14. This event has a full field with a $7,500 guaranteed minimum for first place and an estimated purse of $40,000.
The tournament will be played on the Oak Wing Golf Course (Primary Course) and The Links on the Bayou (Secondary Course). The format will consist of 72 holes. Fields will be cut after 54 holes to the top 40% of the starting field, including ties (maximum of 60 and ties).
Thompson is a graduate of West Bladen High School and UNC Wilmington.
