FAYETTEVILLE – Former East Bladen star Kayleigh Raynor has been one of the top hitters for Methodist softball this season placing in the top 3 on the team in 4 key offensive categories.

Raynor has the 3rd best batting average on the team (.284) and is 2nd on the team in runs scored with 15. The freshman right fielder has belted 23 hits in her 25 games and knocked in 11 runs – both of those totals are 3rd best among the Lady Monarchs.

The Elizabethtown native has a pair of 3-hit games and a trio of 2-hit games. Raynor has hammered 1 triple and walloped a trio of doubles for the Lady Monarchs who currently sport a 4-2 record in USA South Conference play and are 12-15 overall.

Methodist will travel to Greensboro College Wednesday for a USA South doubleheader that begins at 2 p.m.
