Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) proudly announces the appointment of Kellie Blue, to the position of Secretary, Board of Directors. The Local Government Federal Credit Union Board of Directors Officers are member volunteers, elected by the membership to set general policies and procedures for the Credit Union.
Kellie Blue, Director of Finance for Robeson County and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, began her service in 2006 serving on LGFCU’s Eastern Sandhills Advisory Council. She joined the Board of Directors in 2012.
“With such experience and leadership in North Carolina local government, we are very pleased to have Kellie accept this position on our Board,” said LGFCU President Maurice Smith. “She will be part of a great team that has demonstrated its ability and success in continually moving LGFCU forward, all while keeping the best interests of the Credit Union’s members in mind.”
Re-elected Directors of the Board and officers were appointed at LGFCU’s 33rd annual membership meeting on April 22, 2016, at the LGFCU Conference Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Local Government Federal Credit Union serves North Carolina’s local government employees, elected/appointed officials, volunteers and their families.
