Kiwanis members recognized for service

The Kiwanis Club of Elizabethtown recognized three of its members for their length of service to the club. Two members were honored for 10 years each and a third was honored for five years of service.

Kiwanians Michael Aycock and Bruce Barbour each were presented certificates honoring them for 10 years of service to the club. Kiwanian Arch de Castrique was honored for five years of service to the club.

Kiwanian Dr. Lisa Bryan updated the club on the Terrific Kids program at Dublin Primary School and also updated the group on her recent participation in the Kiwanis District meeting conducted in Charlotte.

Bryan also informed the group that she has created a Relay for Life team for the group. Kiwanians are encouraged to donate to the Relay for Life team. Bladen County Relay for Life takes place on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Middle School track.

The club is also selling raffle tickets for a lawn mower. Tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanis member.
