WILMINGTON- White Lake native Lacey Suggs celebrated her Senior Day with 12 points as her UNC-Wilmington Lady Seahawks defeated Hofstra 56-43 in Colonial Athletic Association women’s basketball action Sunday.
Suggs also contributed 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals to the winners attack. She connected on 4 of 9 shots from the field and 4 of 5 free throws.
The East Bladen grad has scored in double-figures in 20 of 27 games this season.
UNC-W has won 3 games in a row and will travel to Drexel Thursday night.
