West Bladen’s Lady Knights, the Southeastern Athletic Conference champions, qualified for 2 events in Saturday’s NCHSAA Class 2A Track & Field State Championship meet at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.
The West Bladen 4×200 meter relay team of seniors Shanyla Hunter and Azillyah McDonald and juniors Kiera Lewis and Trinity VanEyken will compete, and VanEyken also qualified in the 100 meter hurdles.
The 4×200 meter relay is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
