West Bladen grad Laikyn Pait leads Southeastern Community College’s softball team through the first eight games of the season in batting (.357), runs batted in (6), home runs (2), hits (10) and slugging percentage (.571).
Highlights for Pait included a 3-4 performance with a home run, 3 rbi’s, and 2 runs scored in an 8-4 loss to USC-Sumter. In a double-header split with Richard Bland, Pait collected 3 hits, 2 rbi’s and 2 runs scored.
