Larrell Murchinson back in March of 2018 with fellow athletes from Bladen County

RALEIGH – Larrell Murchison’s interception of a Florida State pass set up a North Carolina State touchdown Saturday as the Wolfpack rolled to a 47-28 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over the Seminoles.

With the Wolfpack leading 20-7, Murchison picked off the pass to give State possession at the Seminole 32 yardline 3:42 before halftime. The Wolfpack capitalized on the turnover with a touchdown that boosted their lead to 27-7. Murchison also assisted on a tackle for loss in the game.

For the season Murchison has 20 tackles – 12 solo tackles. The 291-pound junior tackle has recorded 3.5 sacks for minus 19 yards, and 6 tackles for loss for minus 25 yards plus a fumble recovery at Clemson.

In a 35-21 win over Virginia, Murchison had his best game of the season with 6 tackles – 5 solo, 4 tackles for loss for minus 20 yards and 3 sacks for minus 19 yards plus a pass break-up.

The Wolfpack, now 6-2, will host Wake Forest Thursday night on Senior Night.
