THOUSAND OAKS, CA – The Los Angeles Rams have officially re-signed defensive tackle Larrell Murchison to a 1-year deal. Murchison, a 26-year-old Elizabethtown native, had become an unrestricted free agent at the start of the new league year on March 13.

In his first full season with the Rams last year, Murchison played 252 snaps and recorded 16 total tackles – one of which went for a loss – and 5 pressures, while starting 3 of the 15 games he played in.

The Rams acquired Murchison in a claim off waivers from the Tennessee Titans in early December 2022. In 44 career games (8 starts) through 4 seasons with the Titans and the Rams, he has recorded 37 total tackles.

The Titans signed Murchison out of North Carolina State with a 5th round pick (174th overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft.

According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Murchison is capable of playing inside as a defensive tackle or on the edge, but given the Rams’ holes on the interior, that’s likely where he’ll line up in 2024.
