Today is the last day to register for the Annual Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Run and receive the event shirt. The run will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Trooper Kevin Conner (B-551) lost his life during a traffic stop on October 17, 2018. Every October, nearly a thousand people join together for this annual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in memory of Trooper Kevin Conner’s life and his dedication to protecting the community.
Proceeds from this event go into a scholarship fund in memory of Trooper Kevin Conner. The scholarship will be available to students in Columbus and Bladen County. If you cannot race or would like to make an additional donation to the Trooper Kevin Conner Scholarship Fund, click to Donate.
Several distances and runs are offered. There is a timed 5K, untimed one mile, virtual 5K, and virtual one mile. For more details, click the link below.
