Situational Overview
Major Hurricane Florence will threaten the Southeast U.S. coast Thursday into Friday. The storm will produce far reaching impacts, however it still remains too early to determine which areas receive the worst of the impacts. It is possible that it makes landfall as a dangerous major hurricane somewhere in the Carolinas. This is a potentially dangerous situation. All interests across southeast NC and northeast SC need to take this situation seriously. Prepare for the potential of a land-falling major hurricane. Stay informed and listen for instructions from local officials.
