WHITEVILLE—The 10th annual Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation of Bladen and Columbus counties’ Festival of Trees is scheduled for Nov. 16 through Nov. 21 at Northwood Church located at 2672 James B. White Highway, Whiteville. Hours for the event are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily. All proceeds raised during the event will go to benefit Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

Events include a presentation from Chef Sarah Gore called “Delightfully Made: Sweet Holiday Confections” on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4 until 6 p.m. Samples will be available to take home. Tickets for the presentation cost $25 each.
On Wednesday, Nov. 18, a community choir will present “Christmas Through Song” from 7 until 9 p.m.

Tickets are $10 per person. Chili and a salad bar will be available.
On Thursday, Nov. 19, wear your ugliest Christmas Sweater and attend the ugliest sweater party from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be live music and appetizers will be served. Tickets are $25 per person.
On Friday, Nov. 20, there will be a holiday luncheon featuring best-selling author Jason Wright from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. He will be discussing and signing copies his book, Christmas Jars, which will be available for purchase. Cost is $35 per person or you can sponsor a table for 8 at a cost of $250 per table.
On Saturday, Nov. 21, the little ones can enjoy breakfast with Santa from 8:30 until 9:45 a.m. Cost is $5 each for children younger than 12. Adults are $7 each. Seating is limited for this event and must be purchased in advance.
