Melanie BunnLower Cape Fear Hospice will host a free three-hour workshop, Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. It will be from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday, June 8, at Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Broad St. in Elizabethtown. Melanie Bunn will be the featured speaker.

Bunn, RN, MS, GNP, is founder of Bunn Consulting and is a training specialist for Alzheimers North Carolina. She volunteers as an Alzheimer’s support group facilitator and was named 2001 Educator of the Year by the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Lunch will be provided.
