Becky Spearman, Bladen County Extension Director and Livestock Extension Agent, and the NC Cooperative Extension-Bladen County Center invite you to a hands-on and informative Small Flock Chicken Workshop on Thursday, December 5, at 6:30 PM. The event will take place at 450 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
Workshop Topics
The workshop will cover two key topics for poultry enthusiasts:
- Predator Control for Chickens
- Identifying predators: What got my chicken?
- Strategies to enhance predator-proofing and safeguard your flock.
- Chicken Necropsy
- A guided exploration of chicken anatomy to learn about organ health.
- Insight into common diseases affecting layers and broilers.
