Spread the love

Health GradesBy Cheryl Thurston

Ahhh, Spring has finally arrived, with sunny days and mild nights. I love it. It makes me want to walk right out of the kitchen and go eat out. I may be still working off those 10 extra winter pounds but I can’t let myself starve.

I remember when March used to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb, but the thing that I remember most about this March was how similar it was to March of last year. You may recall that this February was unseasonably warm and then March had some cold snaps in it. Just like last year. I hope you didn’t lose any of your flowers or veggies to the frosts. Please keep the farmers in your thoughts and prayers, too.

Why so much talk of March, now that it’s April? Because the fine folks over at the Bladen County Health Department have finalized their health and sanitation inspections from March, and BladenOnline.com is happy to bring you the results. We always like to commend those who achieve a score of 100% because it shows they really care about details, and in the food supply, that’s important. Check out the list below to see who was inspected in March and who achieved 100%. Bon Appitité.
