Spread the love
By Cheryl Thurston
Here we are in November, getting ready for the holiday season, visits with family and friends, and of course, lots of great food. Seems like a good time to look at the results of the sanitation inspections that were performed in October for our public dining places in Bladen County.
As you know, our friends at the Health Department take the cleanliness and safety of the public food supply very seriously, and they visit a certain number of establishments each month to check up. The results are published to the community so you can remain aware and informed about the eateries you frequent.
Many great places are on the list this month, one of which caught my eye. I was recently fortunate enough to eat one of those prime rib burgers sold at the Elizabethtown Food Lion store, and let me tell you it was flavorful, juicy, and very filling. Check out the store on the list below and notice how well our school cafeterias score too. Bon Appitité.
