The Bladen County Board of Elections now has a Facebook page and the public is encouraged to join and like the page, we will publish important public information. With the popularity of Facebook, we feel that this will greatly enhance our ability to inform voter’s of changes in law and upcoming public information seminars.
I would also like to commend our board on it’s successful bipartisan efforts in securing voter access and confidence in the security of their votes. Furthermore, I realize that change does not come easy to many individuals but this board realizes the many security concerns in elections and would rather take a pro active implementation approach than be regretful in the future if we did not.
As the outgoing Chairman I look forward to working with our new Chairman to be named on July 17th, 2018.
