We will be having an Herb Gardening Program at the main library in Elizabethtown on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m. The program is being done by Nancy Olsen, Assistant Extension Agent, Agriculture – Home Horticulture, Master Gardeners for the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Agency.

Nancy was born and raised in Western Kansas on a large cattle and field crops farm and loved riding horses and working in the yard and garden. She attended Kansas State University and received a BS degree in Soil and Water Conservation/Natural Resources, and later went back to KSU where she received a MS in horticulture.
