Murder Mystery’s are becoming popular in Bladen County. The game Clue may be a staple at most homes in the Mother County, but now local businesses are getting in on the Murder Mystery fun.

Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery has held multiple dinner murder mysteries in the past year or so which drew a crowd of adults. This past weekend, one pre-teen had a memorable Mansion Murder Mystery Dinner Birthday Party at the beautiful, historic Elizabethtown Inn.  Macey Potter celebrated her 11th Birthday with friends and family in style.

All of Macey’s friends and family in attendance were dressed as different characters to add to the festivities. Macey was Muffy the Millionaire joined by characters dressed as Chippy the Robot, Alexus the Limo Driver, Missy McHeal the Doctor, Nellie Newsome the Reporter, Sally Siren the Alarm Specialist and more.

Jennifer Potter, Macey’s mom said, “This was the perfect location. Christine with the Elizabethtown Inn was amazing to work with; I highly recommend them! Macey’s Birthday was to die for!”

She added, “I would like to thank everyone that came to the party and to Party Perfect Rentals, Lisa Thompson, Toni Graham Cross, Burney’s Bakery, Giorgio’s and most of all, The Elizabethtown Inn!”
