On Tuesday, November 19th 2019, West Bladen FFA hosted an appreciation event for law enforcement officers who serve Bladen County. The event was held at the Cape Fear Farmers market in Elizabethtown. FFA Officers Daniel Kinlaw, Kayla Norris, and MacKenzie Morris opened the social. Andrew Pait Jr, WBHS FFA member and son of a local law enforcement officer, gave remarks about the joys and trials of law enforcement. Burney’s Sweets and More provided refreshments to the police officers and students.

FFA members and police officers enjoyed getting to know one another in a relaxed environment. At one time during the event, Sheriff Jim McVicker was seen heartily joking with FFA member Daniel Kinlaw. A good time was had by all. WBHS FFA members and local law enforcement look forward to making this an annual event. WBHS FFA Chapter would like to thank all members of local law enforcement for their service and sacrifice.
