Registration for the walk will begin at 8:30 AM and the 5K (3 Mile) walk will begin at 9:00 AM. A registration fee of $15.00 will get you an event T-shirt. Registration without a T-Shirt is $5.00.
Walk at your leisure through a quiet neighbor. This is an enjoyable way for the community to join together in the fight against diabetes. All proceeds from this walk will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Lions all over the world organize Strides events in their communities to heighten awareness of diabetes and its complications and to provide information on preventing and managing the disease. These events promote regular, healthy exercise and include participants of all ages.
