Southeastern, NC – Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is proud to announce that two of our hospice care center teams have received national recognition. Press Ganey has awarded both the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick and the Angel House Hospice Care Center in Whiteville with the 2024 Human Experience Pinnacle of Excellence Award® for Employee Experience.
“I have some exciting news to share,” Jessica Beardsley, Vice President of Human Resources, said. “Not only were we in the 94th percentile for employee engagement, but we also received two of the three national awards in our employer category. Even better? Our feedback revealed that we are among the top-performing healthcare employers in the nation.”
The Pinnacle of Excellence Award® recognizes top performers in the National Healthcare Average benchmark based on their average employee engagement scores from the two most recent calendar years. Organizations are grouped based on the number of surveys they have returned. This year, Lower Cape Fear LifeCare won two of the three national awards in its category peer group.
