Folks at Lu Mil Vineyard are gearing up for their 8th annual Christmas Light show will kick off Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 28 and 29 from 6 until 10 p.m.
The light show will continue on Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 3 – 6 and Dec. 10 – 13 from 6 until 10- p.m. On Thursday, Dec. 17, continuing through Wednesday, Dec 23, the show will take place nightly from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Cost for the light show is $6 per person or $60 per vehicle for vans or buses.
Folks can also rent the double-decker bus for light show tours, but reservations must be made ahead of time. Cost to rent the double-decker bus is $6 person with a minimum of 20 people required.
In addition to the light show, there is also a meal that will consist of a country buffet. The cost for the meal is separate from the tour and is $11 per person plus tax.
The route has been extended by three-quarters of a mile with new decorations to see and explore.
For those who have not yet attended the light show, the route is well marked. Folks drive their vehicle through the display of dazzling lights and music, following the signs and enjoy a Christmas extravaganza.
When it comes to the music, the staff at Lu Mil Vineyard will tell folks what station to tune their car’s radio station os they can enjoy the music the lights are synchronized to.
Don’t forget to bring your camera as their are plenty of photo opportunities throughout the show where folks can stop and take pictures.
New this year will be a special Star Wars display located between the gift shop and candy shop that folks can walk through and take photos.
Folks will also enjoy the Candy Shop which features an array of old fashioned candies. This year, Santa will also be on hand to hear the wish list for all the children who will be visiting.
The Gift Shop will also be open and will feature an array of gift ideas as well as offering Muscadine cider to help folks warm up from their tour.
