As many brides begin to prepare for their special day, they may have questions about the many choices available to them for everything from food to photographers. Lu Mil Vineyard can help as they prepare to host their 12th annual Bridal Show on Sunday, January 20th, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is free and prospective grooms, members of the wedding party, as well as the public can attend.

“Everything in that room is what I feel like a bride may need to make her day everything she wants it to be,” said Denise Bridgers.

There will be tours of the venues offered and brides are welcome to book their events on Sunday.

The Bridal Show will be hosted in Creekside and entry to the event is through the Gift Shop. All of the brides will be asked to register as they enter the show. Last year, the Bridal Show was attended by 138 brides from 18 counties in North Carolina.

The goal of the Bridal Show is to give the Bride-to-Be and her Prospective Groom, everything they need for their special day under one roof. It also gives brides a chance to talk with different vendors and obtain information about the various services they might need. The vendors including photographers, videographers, DJs, make-up artists, event planners, dealers for bridal gowns, tuxedo rentals, and caterers.

A new vendor this year will be a food truck by A Catered Affair. They will travel to outdoor venues to cater events.

“This is a new trend for a lot of girls,” said Bridgers of the food truck.

Also  new this year will be a wedding officiant from Always Faithful Wedding Service and Elizabethtown Massage R & R will be in attendance offering bridal packages.

There will be a drawing for a grand prize which will be a one night stay in one of the deluxe cabins at Lu Mil Vineyard. Bridgers said the grand prize drawing is open to anyone who attends the Bridal Show. Other drawings will be held throughout the day.
