Tar Heel-Lula Boyd Smith, 69 years of age, also known as “Lula Bell,” of Tar Heel, N.C., died Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jasper Washington (J.W.) Smith, her father Henry Boyd and mother Elease Boyd.
She is survived by three sons: Jasper Lucas Smith of Tar Heel, Joe Smith and wife Gigi Smith of Calabash, Terry Smith and wife Heather Smith of Tar Heel. She was also survived by seven grandchildren: Chaley and Blake Smith of Tar Heel, Tempie Smith of Clarkton, Brianna Smith of Calabash and Austin, Colby and Devin Smith of Tar Heel.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Tar Heel Baptist Church, Tar Heel, N.C.
