Mable White, 82, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mable was the youngest sister of nine siblings. She was born and raised in Bladen County, NC. She attended Chowan College and UNC-Wilmington.

Mable was a force, known for her positive outlook, and lit up any room she entered, where she easily made lasting friendships. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends and family. She was looking forward to her daughter’s nearing retirement and their new adventures.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna LaNier Austin and grand-daughter, Kayleigh Austin of Greenville, NC; her son, Bryan Myers and wife, Chrystal of Fayetteville, NC; her brother, Emery White and wife, Shirley of Elizabethtown, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved dearly.

The family would like to thank Moore Regional Hospital medical staff, Meals on Wheels of the Sandhills, Moore County Department of Aging In-home Aide program, Dr. Joseph Hakas, Dr. Michael Brackman and his staff at Pinehurst Medical Clinic, Penny Jeffrey, PhD, Deborah Hickman, RN, and Linda Johnson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels of the Sandhills 1975 Juniper Blvd. West End, NC 27376 and/or the Moore County Department of Aging In-Home Aide program 8040 U.S. 15 West End, NC 27836.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
