Last Wednesday the Elizabethtown Veterinarian Hospital and A Shelter Friend hosted their monthly Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. According to A Shelter Friend’s website the rescue group is made up of volunteers giving pets a second chance. The 501 (c) 3 organization works with Bladen County Animal Shelter to place pets in new homes and they assist in the monthly Spay and Neuter clinics.
