Small Business Saturday came in rainy and gloomy, but left warm and prosperous according to some local business owners. Sunday will help set the tone of the season with the annual Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Christmas parade.

Some downtown merchants will be open for extended hours today offering savings. BladenOnline.com will be on site distributing coupons for savings at some small businesses in the area.

Please plan to attend the Christmas Parade starting at 3 p.m., today, November 25 on Broad Street in Elizabethtown.

Saturday, December 1st the Bladenboro Christmas Parade will feature celebrations and goodwill as well.

The towns of Dublin and Bladenboro offer holiday cheer by having an annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony as well. Lu Mil Vineyard also kicked the season off this weekend with the start of their annual Light Show. Many Bladen County residents celebrate the holidays by attending these event each year.
