East Bladen’s Malcolm Bolden has been named 2022 HighSchootOT.com All-State Boys Soccer Honorable Mention. Bolden had earlier been named to the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association Class 2A All-State Boys Soccer team for the 2nd consecutive year.
Bolden fired in 31 goals and assisted on 10 other goals. East Bladen only scored 45 goals this season and Bolden had a hand in 41 of them. He finished with 7 ‘Hat Tricks’ in 15 games played and ended his career with 73 goals, which is a total that ranks him 4th in East Bladen history for goals scored in a career.
The Eagle senior had earlier earned Southeastern Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year honors and SAC-7 All-Conference recognition.
