The man arrested for the shooting death of Lonnie Level Smith will have his next court appearance on Monday, July 10, according to court records.

Harold Eugene Swindell, 47, of South Page Road, Clarkton, is charged with first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Smith, 38, of Jasmine Lane, Clarkton, was shot and killed following an altercation at the Oakdale Homes apartment complex.
