The 2017 Vineyard Golf Thundering Herd nine-hole tourney got off to a great start Thursday. Two teams tied for first place with 6-under par. The team of Kent Fisher, Ed Horne and Jake Womble won the scorecard playoff on the third hole. They defeated the team of Will Fisher, Jake Suggs, Stephen Clark and Bryan Smith.
The Thundering Herd is held every Thursday at 6 p.m. To enter you must call the pro shop at 910-247-6132 by 5:30 p.m. The cost is $18 for members and $20 for guests.
