The McDonald’s in Elizabethtown is temporarily closed as it undergoes remodeling. The restaurant is located at 402 South Poplar Street and has been a mainstay in the town for a number of years.

The restaurant is scheduled to re-open on October 10th with a new look and new ownership. The store is now owned by Rust Enterprises, Inc. of Lumberton.

A job fair was held earlier in the summer seeking employees for all positions and all shifts.

The McDonald’s company was founded in 1940 in San Bernardino, CA, and the menu consists of burgers, fries, shakes, iced coffees, lattes, drinks and more.
