On September 22nd, Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker was welcomed to the Bladen Community College Board of Trustees. Appointed to the position by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory, McVicker assumes the role immediately.
McVicker has more than 40 years in law enforcement. He retired from the Highway Patrol in 2002 and served in the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office as a detective until his election as the Bladen County Sheriff in November of 2014.
