WHITEVILLE –Senior Greyson Heustess poured in three goals Tuesday night to record another ‘Hat Trick’ and lead his East Bladen Eagles to a 5-0 Three Rivers Conference men’s soccer victory over Whiteville.

The three goals raised Heustess’ team-leading total of goals scored to 32 for the season. Senior Bryan Monroe and junior Jake Evans added one goal each for the winners who led 2-0 at halftime.

Senior Pierce Melvin topped the Eagle playmakers with 3 assists. Evans dished out 2 assists for East Bladen, and Monroe, junior Gabe Barber and sophmore Garrett Melvin were credited with one assist each.

Senior Spencer Scott and sophmore Jacob Priest combined on the shutout in goal for the Eagles. Scott worked the first 60 minutes and recorded 3 saves, Priest relieved him and was in goal for the final 20 minutes.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Eagles had already clinched the TRC championship and completed their regular season with a 13-1 league record and 17-1-2 overall mark.
