East Bladen High SchoolTABOR CITY – Seniors Caleb Hatchell and Brooks McGill both recorded ‘Hat Tricks’ Thursday to lead East Bladen to a 7-1 Three Rivers Conference men’s soccer victory over South Columbus.

Hatchell actually went one past the ‘Hat Trick’ scoring 4 goals and dishing out one assist. McGill finished with 3 goals and 5 assists.

Junior Irvin Hernandez was credited with 2 assists, and sophmore Gabe Barber and junior Greyson Heustess had one assist each.

Sophmore Jake Evans led the Eagle defense with 15 steals. McGill finished with 12 steals, and Gabe Barber, junior Dan Tatum, Hernandez and Heustess followed with 10 steals each.

Junior Spencer Scott recorded 2 saves in goal for the Eagles. East Bladen raced to a 5-0 halftime lead.

Coach Jay Raynor’s Eagles are unbeaten in league play with a 10-0 record and are 16-1 overall. East Bladen will host West Columbus Monday at 5 p.m.
