East Columbus built a 3-1 lead and held on for a 3-2 non-conference men’s soccer victory over visiting East Bladen Wednesday.
Sophomore Brooks McGill scored both East Bladen goals. Both goals came in the second half after the Gators led 1-0 at intermission.
Sophomore Kevin Nunoz and freshman Greyson Heustess were credited with assists for the Eagles.
McGill also collected 8 steals for the East Bladen defense. Senior Alex Felder finished with 5 steals, and teammate Ezequiel Arteaga followed with 4 steals. Heustess, junior Grey Caballero and sophomore Caleb Hatcher added 3 steals each.
The Eagles, now 2-2 on the season, will host East Columbus Tuesday at 5 p.m.
