Heide Trask scored one goal in each overtime period to claim a 4-2 Four County Conference overtime men’s soccer victory at East Bladen Monday night.

Trask grabbed the early lead with a goal in the first minute of Monday’s game.

The Eagles tied the game in the 18th minute. Junior Grey Cabellero lofted a free kick over the goalie to sophmore Josue Guvera on the back side. Guvera headed the ball back to the middle to senior Alex Felder who headed the ball into the net for the tying goal.

The score remained tied 1-1 at halftime. In the 15th minute of the second half, the Titans scored again to take a 2-1 lead.

Five minutes later, Cabellero played the ball forward to freshman Greyson Heustess who flipped a header over his head to the backline. Sophmore Caleb Hatchell ran onto the pass and hit a low shot past the charging goalie to tie the game again 2-2.

The score remained tied for the remainder of regulation. Trask scored in the third minute of the first overtime period to take a 3-2 lead. The Titans tacked on an insurance goal with one minute left in the second overtime period.

The Eagles, now 5-12, will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game.
