Clarkton School of Discovery defeated Bladenboro 13-2 in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday afternoon in Clarkton.

After Bladenboro Middle scored a run in the top of the first inning, Jake Evans started the bottom of the first with a single.  Xavier McKoy walked and Chad Garner was hit by a pitch to load bases. Gabe Barber slammed a triple to clear the bases and later scored on a sacrifice to give CSD a 4-1 lead.

The Bulldogs whittled the lead to 4-2 in the top of the second. J. T. Junious scored a CSD run in the bottom of the second to push the margin to 5-2.

Evans led off the bottom of the fifth with a single.  After a walk to Xavier McKoy, Gabe Barber blasted a double to score both runs.  A series of walks, passed balls, and a throwing error allowed Barber, Jacob Priest, Javonte McDowell, Aaron Todd, Juwan Baldwin and Junious to score runs during the 8-run fifth inning. The game was stopped due to the ten run rule.

Andrew Cahn, Junious and Barber all saw action on the mound for the Blue Devils during the game.
